Joining The Club

This page will be updated in March 2012. You should expect some small increases in both Membership fees and BWSF membership. There will be an increase in the Junior Membership fee to bring it to 50% of a full membership in line with other clubs and activities

2011 Season: We are not accepting memberships for this season any longer. If you wish to join the club it is recommended you contact the membership secretaryas quickly as possible and she will advise of the current situation for next season. Leaving it until the season begins may mean you miss out until next year!

Membership Rates 2010

  • Full Member: – FEE £225
  • Weekday Member: – FEE £161
  • Family Member: – FEE £ 225 plus (No of children) @ £92 less one free child @ £92
  • Student Member: – FEE £112
  • Junior Member: – FEE £92.00
  • Disabled Member: – Contact Membership secretary for details of subsidised membership – FEE £ 74. (This fee is payable to BDWSA(SW) and not to Ellingham Water Ski . The fee includes BWS membership, BDWSA Full membership and membership of the Club. BDWSA(SW) Treasurer – Ian Forrester – ijforrester@googlemail.com

BWSF Fees 2010 (Compulsory for all except Social & Waiting List)

  • Individual £40
  • Family £70
  • 1 Adult + 1 Child £55.00
  • Junior & student (not part of Family) £15.00

Membership Categories

Full Member: Person over the age of 18, has full use of club facilities 7 days a week, entitled to full voting rights

Weekday Member: Person over the age of 18, has full use of the club facilities from Monday to Friday (inclusive). Is a social member at weekends in the summer and if wishing to ski at weekends will be treated as a temporary member, is entitled to full voting rights, may not be elected onto the Committee.

Family Members: Any adult paying a Full Membership who at the time of membership is also joining / renewing with more than one child will get one child free FEE £ 225 plus (No of children) @ £92 less one free child @ £92

Student Member: Person under age 23 in full time Education. Skiing available weekdays & Saturdays (except Bank Holidays & after 5.30pm July & August). No voting rights.

Junior Member: Person under the age of 18, but over the age of 7 at the start of the membership year. No voting rights.

Disabled Member: A member of the BDWSA, treated as a full member.

Social Member: Person wishing to attend general meetings and receive newsletters, if skiing will be treated as a temporary member. Not eligible for election to the Committee but may be co-opted, may make occasional use of all other club facilities.
