Facilities
| At Ellingham Lake we have the ideal facilities to keep you happy during your time with us. The club has two ‘Correct Craft Ski Nautique’ competition boats. For slalom skiing and barefooting, we have a fantastic new 2012 model European spec 343 hp Ski Nautique 200 (the official towboat for the IWSF World Water Ski Championships), complete with the ‘Zero Off ’ GPS based speed control system, so you get the exact speed you want every time. It represents, without question, a revolution in hull design. It has a wider running surface than its predecessor, creating greater lift and the ultimate “skier’s wake” that will be appreciated by skiers at all speeds and rope lengths. The unique hull design provides a softer, flatter wake with a smoother exit, allowing slalom skiers to effectively maintain ski edge, control and direction. The Ski Nautique 200, in closed or open bow, is the ultimate, dedicated three-event ski boat. The wake is ideal for slalom and jump, with a gradual entry that has little effect on the ski. The exclusive Hydro-GateTM softens the peaks of the rooster tail and wakes. And spray is greatly reduced and controlled. Trick skiers will reach new heights with the 200. It creates a clean, smooth table and a defined, single peak wake that lets the skier easily feel the top. There’s even a new trick-friendly pylon for those who use a rope-style release. Driving, observing or skiing behind it, you’ll discover the next revolution in ski boats – and the Nautique Difference – on your very first pass.
If you are new to waterskiing, we have a training bar to make the learning experience that little easier and quicker. As it also has a tower it is also ideal for learning to wakeboard. For more advanced wakeboarding we also have a LPG powered 2005 Correct Craft Super Air Nautique – the official towboat of the WWA National and World Championships. (Note: Both boats are protected by GPS Marine Tracking devices so we know exactly where they are and are alerted should they move off the lake)So no excuses, come on down and try your hand at one of the following disciplines
Apres-Ski On summer weekends we often have Bar-B-Qs to relax after an enjoyable days skiing. With the sun setting over the back of the lake it’s an idyllic setting. |
