Wakeboarding at Ellingham Lake Ringwood Hampshire - convenient for Poole Bournemouth Southampton and skiers from Dorset and along the South Coast of England

So you want to wakeboard? Whether you are a beginner or very experienced, if you live in or are visiting the Wessex area then Ellingham is the place to wakeboard.

You'll all know that to wakeboard well you've got to have flat water so what better place than a sheltered lake which only runs one boat at a time. If you are just learning then you'll need the correct environment to progress as fast as possible. Anywhere there's chop, swell or other boat wakes is not going to help you get to the standard you are capable of. Wakeboarding on the sea or in the harbour in less tha ideal conditions will give you bad habits that become difficult to break.

You'll also need the best facilities. We have a fantastic Super Air Nautique boat (Note: this boat is protected by a GPS Worldwide Marine Tracking device so we know exactly where it is at all times) which delivers one of the biggest wakes around and is highly sought after in the wakeboard world. We will start you off with some dry land instruction before starting on the training boom. We'll then put you on the short line before progressing to the long line. We also have British Waterksi instructors to teach you (included in the cost of a tow) and some of the best wakeboarders in the area to give you excellent tips and advice. You'll soon be itching to start trying some aerial moves - that's when the fun, and addiction, starts.

If you are more experienced you'll know the importance of the above and will be looking for the advantages of a proper wakeboard club. Our Super Air Nautique boat runs the Perfect Pass system so your speed will be spot-on every time. We also have the ability to load or unload the boat with ballast to increase or decrease the wake. So if you are serious about your wakeboarding we are the only place to come unless you wish to travel another 80 miles.

If you live in Poole or Bournemouth then you just need to travel up the spur road to Ringwood, take the Salisbury Road (A338) and you'll be here in 20 minutes.

If you live near to Southampton then again a quick 20 minute journey along the A27 will soon have you skiing on the lake in the best conditions possible.

Remember boarders travel here from all over Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex Somerset and Wiltshire, so if they are willing to make the journey then surely it's worth it for you.

See you soon.......
