The History of Ellingham Waterski and Wakeboard Club

We were originally founded at Ivy Lake in 1986 and known as Ivy Lake Water Ski Club. During 2003, we were required to move by English Nature, who wanted Ivy Lake for wildlife preservation. We moved the 200 yards or so across the trees to Ellingham Lake, which has enabled us to improve facilities and raise the standard of skiing and boarding within the Club. The lake is a SSSI and we are within the New Forest National Park boundary.
