As a member of the Ellingham Waterski & Wakeboard Ski Club, I agree that I will:
- Respect the views of other members, the committee, suppliers and other persons associated with the club and always use appropriate and respectful language and behaviour.
- Act in the best interests of the club, its property and its members at all times.
- Act fairly, allowing equal access to the club and tows to all members.
- Contribute towards the upkeep and operation of the club when I reasonably can.
- I understand that this is a volunteer-based members run and managed club that relies on all members to help out. The more I use the club, the more I will seek to help out.
- Follow the rules and regulations of the club, as provided by the committee and as updated from time to-time.
- Raise any concerns regarding safety, club operations, club property, or any other matters with the committee, such as by emailing info@elinghamwaterski.couk
- Respect and follow the decisions and reasonable instructions made by the committee and club.
- Put away any club equipment that I have used and clean-up any mess that I have made before leaving the club.
- Ensure that my guests and family members comply with this code of conduct and any other applicable rules and regulations.
I will not:
- Disparage or smear the club, its members, committee, boats or suppliers.
- Take any action which is likely to harm the best interests of the club, its assets or its members, including any action which undermines any decision or regulation that has been made.
- I will not attempt to “trick” or manipulate the booking system to gain more sets than the rules allow, or attempt to abuse the cancellation policy.
- Use the club for any purpose other than wakeboarding, waterskiing, wake surfing and associated activities except with prior written consent from the committee.
- Access or use the club, its facilities or equipment if the committee advises that they are unavailable to me.
- Drive any boat on the lake without written permission from the committee.
- I will not treat equipment and facilities without the care required to keep them in the best condition possible, any abuse or willful damage may lead to suspension or being expelled from the club.
- Wear unsuitable/revealing attire in or around the club grounds or when participating in a discipline.
- Smoke/vape on site, near clubhouse or dock, only at the far end of the car park.
- Take drugs on anywhere on site or participate in any activities whilst under the influence of drugs.
- I understand that if I breach this code of conduct, I may be suspended or expelled from the club without refund, by a majority vote of the committee.
